SurgicEye GmbH presented its new 3-D imaging and navigation device at the 15th Congress of the European Society of Surgical Oncology in Bordeaux (15-17.09.2010), booth B5 at the Palais des Congrès de Bordeaux Lac.

declipseSPECT is the first intra-operative device providing 3-D imaging and navigation during surgery. 3-D imaging and navigation make surgical interventions safer and more reliable. declipseSPECT is currently used in hospitals in Germany and Italy to treat Skin cancers and Breast cancers.

This technology extends one dimensional gamma probes to a two or three dimensional imaging system (equivalent to SPECT) which can be flexibly used in the OR with very little alteration to radio-guided procedures such as sentinel lymph node biopsy or primary tumors resection.
