SurgicEye at ISNS in Yokohama on November 18-20
Thursday, 28 October 2010 12:21

SurgicEye GmbH presented its 3-D imaging and navigation device declipseSPECT at the ISNS congress (international sentinel node society) in Yokohama on November 18-20, 2010 at the Pacifico convention complex.

declipseSPECT is the first intra-operative device providing 3-D imaging and navigation during surgery. 3-D imaging and navigation make surgical interventions safer and more reliable. declipseSPECT is currently used in hospitals in Germany and Italy to treat Skin cancers and Breast cancers.

This technology extends one dimensional gamma probes to a two or three dimensional imaging system (equivalent to SPECT) which can be flexibly used in the OR with very little alteration to radio-guided procedures such as sentinel lymph node biopsy or primary tumors resection.

The Annual congress of the international sentinel node society was held at the Pacifico convention complex in Yokohama.
