SurgicEye will present its 3-D imaging and navigation device declipseSPECT at ALASBIMN Brazil 2011 Congress, which will be held from September 28th to October 1st - 2011, at the Summerville Hotel in Porto de Galinhas Beach, Pernambuco, Brazil. The declipseSPECT is the first intra-operative device providing fully 3-D imaging and navigation during surgery. This technology makes surgical interventions safer and more reliable. The declipseSPECT is currently used to ensure the highest quality patient outcome in breast surgery and melanoma, further applications in gynecology and urology are investigated. This solution for radio-guided surgery extends one dimensional gamma probes to dimensional imaging system (imaging properties similar to SPECT), which can be flexibly used in the operating room without alteration of the clinical workflow in sentinel lymph node biopsy or primary tumors resection. Use the opportunity to meet Dr. Thomas Wendler CTO and co-founder of SugicEye GmbH to learn more about the application and technology behind the declipseSPECT.
