SurgicEye GmbH is 1st runner-up in the final stage (marathon category) of the Munich Business Plan Competition MBPW, winning a prize of 10,000 Euros.

Prof. Dr. Nassir Navab, Ivan Billy, Thomas Wendler and Joerg Traub presented the business model to an expert jury of investors and industry. The team developed a new method of navigation that makes interventions of cancer surgeries safer and more precise.

Only projects that are technically challenging partake in MBPW’s marathon category. These projects have a start-up phase of more than 18 months and equity requirements of more than 1M Euro.
